What is UNiD SDK for NodeJS?

Today we published NodeJS version of UNiD SDK as part of the getunid/unid repository! UNiD SDK for NodeJS supports the creation of DIDs and resolution of DID Documents based on Decentralized Identifiers (DIDs) v1.0 published by W3C, creation, and verification of Verifiable Credentials and Verifiable Presentations based on Verifiable Credentials Data Model 1.0, as well as storage and retrieval in SDS (Secure Data Storage) provided by UNiD Network.

Now, working on UNiD SDK for Rust for edge devices

We have made a decision about bringing intelligence to edge devices. And right now, we are in the process of preparing to offer SDKs for IoT devices. Initially, we aimed to build an ecosystem utilizing the NodeJS version of the SDK. Still, due to our focus on edge devices, we are reimplementing it using Rust based on the NodeJS version of the SDK. The NodeJS version of UNiD SDK released today will be available until the Rust reimplementation is completed. After the Rust reimplementation is completed, we plan to release a new NodeJS version of UNiD SDK with the library implemented in Rust as the backend.

UNiD Edge SDK repo is available on our GitHub. Please come and visit if you want a deep dive into it.
